Refund policy

This applies to everything sold on study.taxear.com by Neat Circle LLC. The free reference site sells nothing.

One-time purchases (practice exam parts)

Ask within 14 days of purchase and we refund in full, whatever you have used. Email editor@taxear.com from the address you bought with; no reason needed. After 14 days, purchases are not refundable, except where the law where you live says otherwise or where we have discontinued a part you paid for, in which case we refund the unused portion.

Subscriptions (Practitioner alerts)

Cancel at any time from your account page. Your access runs to the end of the period already paid, and you are not charged again. We do not refund part of a billing period that has already started, except for the first period, which is refundable in full within 14 days of the first charge.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank. A refunded purchase ends the access it unlocked.

Problems with a charge

If something looks wrong on your statement, write to us first; we fix mistakes quickly and without argument. A chargeback filed without contacting us takes longer for everyone and ends access while it is investigated.
